The 5-year plan. Hey guys, I hope you are well. I have been doing a lot of thinking. I have been doing a lot of planning too. One day, I want to look back in my life and tell myself ‘well done Sonia. You made it. My life right is very settled and pretty much straight forward, which is great for me. However, have you ever been to a place where you have achieved everything you have always wanted? Then one day you sit back and say, ‘now what?’ That’s where I am just now. I want to do more and I want to live a very joyful lifestyle with my family. So In today’s post, I am going to share with you my 5-year plan (2020-2025).
The 5-Year Plan
2020 – 2021
Work
Well, obviously, I am working. And that’s what I am planning to do for the rest of the year. Let’s face it, we all need to start earning a decent amount of money to live the lifestyle we want.
Saving
While earning money and paying off bills and the debt, I also want to save money. It is going to be hard, especially when I have By the end of the year, I want to have at least £1000 saved up.
Start a business
I want to start a very small business that I can do from home. I have Sonia Bakes Cakes set up but it’s not completed and ready to launch. However, something else might come up. Maybe write a book.
2021 – 2023
College HND level
I have plans to go back to college. My plan is to complete the HND level. However, I am open to other options. HND level is a 2 years course so I want to use the opportunity to stay focused.
Have a baby
Hopefully another baby girl. I wouldn’t mind a boy either. I have always wanted a big family. To be honest, I wouldn’t mind having another baby as a single mum. My experience of being a single mum to my daughter has been pretty straight forward and enjoyable. Yes, it is stressful and hard but it’s all worth it. I’d rather stress for my kids.
Buy land in Nigeria
I want to follow my mum’s footstep and build a house back home in Nigeria. I am very proud of my mum for building a 7 bedroom mansion in Nigeria. If I don’t become successful in the future. My house in Nigeria will be my children’s heritage.
2023-2025
Graduate from College
Finally made it out of college after nearly 10 years. I believe this will be celebrated in a big way.
Work full time
I start a full-time career and just live my life with my 2 children. Maybe with a different company but I think i like working in the Legal Services field. Every interesting with a lot of drama.
Start Building and Complete House In Nigeria
Hopefully, my house will be completed by 2025. I will be very happy and stand proud when it gets completed. You Guys, if I Sonia Seivwright, build a house in Nigeria. I’ll make sure the whole world knows. It will be the happiest day of my life.
That’s my 5-year plan. I will be working very hard over the next 5 years and I pray the Lord to give me strength. I hope you enjoyed the post, What’s your 5-year plan?
