5 Things I Love About Myself. Hey everyone, I hope you are well. In today’s post, I am going to talk about 5 things I love about myself. We are all used to thinking, listening and saying negative about ourselves. However, this year I choose not to be negative about anything. It’s about time we stop this and change our mindset. As its February and it’s the season of love, rather than talking about Gifts and Dates ideas, I am going to share the things that are in my life and why I love them.
5 Things I love about myself
I will be 30 years old this year, and I must say, I am proud of all the obstacles I have been through in the last 30 years on earth. I have been through so much that many people have not even had a taste of. Right from birth all the way to 30 years later, filled with ups and downs, battle after battles, my life has never been a straight line.
Despite everything that has happened to me, I still have a good heart. A heart that forgives everyone and a heart that is kind enough to welcome new people into my life. Even those who have hurt me in the worse possible way, I still have a heart that will be pleased to see them one more time.
Due to disabilities, I always get misunderstood and misjudged. Don’t know why but as soon as people see me or notice that I am amputee, they start judging or feeling pity for me. Then they start to advantages of me and that has obviously taken a ton of confidence out of me. However, I have learnt to accept and appreciate the way I am. Yes, I am different, but guess what, you are too. I am not normal and neither are you.
This is something I will forever cherish. If you don’t know, I am a make-up free type of girl. Some people say maybe it’s because I am just not into make-up and stuff. Probably that’s true. However, I do appreciate the fact that I can walk around make-up free all day, every day. I am not saying Make-up is bad etc because I wear makeup sometimes to parties etc. These days, when you embrace your natural beauty, people ready to attack you. This going to happen no matter what I do.
So why not be natural on your way up. Through my natural beauty, I have been accepted in beauty pageants and walk down fashion shows and became a model. Through my natural beauty, I am still very attractive to both men and women. And through my natural beauty, anything is possible because beauty comes from inside out. There is no other way around it. I have been through so much, yet my beauty, my smiles, and my kind loving heart never changed.
Being an ambitious person is my strength. I think the reason I have managed to become successful after going through a lot of things that many people will not be able to survive, its because I am very ambitious. When I see something or have a vision of something, I won’t stop until I see it through. It doesn’t matter what it is or how many things you are ambitious about. I think ever since I was a victim of bullies from school, it made me angry that I was treated that way. However, I did not use my anger in a negative way. I decided to be creative and fight a silent war to become a hero for myself. I am proud of the positive things that I have done.
When you are ambitious, you become a fighter. You won’t stop because you can’t stop. Your mindset will not let you. It’s almost a voice constantly telling you that there must be a way out. You must find a way out. I believe one day, people will know my name and understand that I am different. And finally, accept that there are people in this world who may look, smell and act differently. My dream is bigger than yours. Nothing is normal. Be a leader, not a follower. That’s how you change the world.
What do you love about yourself?
There you have it. 5 Things I love about myself. I hope you enjoyed reading this post. I really enjoyed writing this post. It made smile all through. Like Wow. Sonia, you should be proud of yourself. I feel it’s very important to speak out a lot of positive things about yourself to yourself. It’s okay to have to in your mind but it’s better when you say, write and read it out loud. Remember at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what people talk or think about you (they will always find something). What matter the most is, what you say and think about yourself.
